In a Nutshell:

* More than 3,200 jackets were sold in Canada.

* No injuries have yet been reported.

Health Canada has issued an official recall for children’s nylon jackets. The drawstring at the bottom of the jackets, made in China and sold by Ontario-based Calikids Inc., can become entangled with slides, hand rails, school bus doors and other objects, posing an injury hazard. As of this writing, no entanglement incidents and no injuries have been reported to Health Canada.

The nylon waterproof shell jackets, style S1654, were sold in sizes 2T to 6Y, in blue, pink, red and yellow, and have a drawstring in the bottom hem.

More than 3,200 units were sold in Canada between March 2016 and July 2018. No ASI-listed companies were named in the recall.
