The Magnet Group Highlights Sustainable Products
The Counselor Top 40 supplier offers a growing lineup of eco-friendly items, including notebooks made with recycled ocean plastic and bamboo cutting boards.
Counselor Top 40 supplier The Magnet Group (asi/68507) is meeting customer demands for more sustainable products, beefing up its line of eco-friendly promo. The supplier recently released a new brochure, gathering together everything from pens made of recycled materials to bamboo cutting boards.
Among the featured products is the Oceano journal (QG18V), made from 100% recycled paper with a polyester fabric cover that is crafted from recycled ocean plastic. The journals come in red, white, navy, aqua or black.
The Maxema Dot pen (DOTBK) is made from postconsumer recycled plastic. The production process has a 90% energy savings and cuts CO2 emissions by four times compared to virgin plastics, according to the supplier. The retractable pens – which come in several solid colors with a matte finish – feature a wide clip, ideal for decoration.
Also included is the Kambukka 25-ounce bottle (KAM004), with a BPA-free Tritan Renew plastic body. Tritan Renew is a polyester created with molecular recycling technology that “breaks down plastic waste back into its basic chemical building blocks – allowing plastic materials to be recycled again and again,” according to its maker, chemical company Eastman. Tritan Renew is made with up to 50% certified recycled content.
The Magnet Group ranked 19th in Counselor’s most recent list of the Top 40 suppliers in the industry, with 2023 North American promotional products revenue of $102.7 million.
