PrintIQ Announces Update for Print Management Service
The latest MIS program includes workflow improvements for printers in wide format, apparel, labels and more.
PrintIQ has announced the release of the 48th version of its cloud-based print management program, designed for print professionals across the industry in wide format, apparel, labels, packaging, commercial print and more.
The company said in a press statemen that the latest update was influenced by customer feedback and industry requests. The updated version includes capabilities to create quotes more quickly and accurately, simplify the ordering process, provide more clarity on production floor variables, and provide more customized data.
“We have listened to our customers in detail and have aligned their needs with our current roadmap to ensure printIQ is accelerating in the right direction,” printIQ CEO John Alden said in the statement. “From the new gang-based estimating module targeting the wide and large format segments to a completely new way of presenting reports that provides clear data at your fingertips with a single click, we are eager to get our customers using the latest version and begin sharing these new features with the industry.”
The gang-based estimating allows users to create quotes for rolls and sheets in the large format printing segment, and algorithms to visualize multiple items on the substrate for easy visualization and layout to create an estimate.
For printers decorating apparel or textiles, the update lets you search products and set pricing to streamline the ordering process.
“While we have a number of spotlight features, we certainly don’t want to lose sight of additions like press-based bleed control, new component options for tiling, a new dedicated workflow to improve the way overs and unders are managed, integration improvements along with new integrations, and so much more,” Alden added.
