Britney Godsey of Gold Bond talks about the work that went into the supplier’s brand refresh.
A rebranding effort can be something as minor as a logo tweak to a full-scale change in name, mission and values. For Hixson, TN-based supplier Gold Bond (asi/57653), their recent brand refresh was somewhere in between.
“We deployed 11 new customer components, including flat-rate sample shipping and the ability to file a claim through the website,” says Britney Godsey, chief revenue officer. Visuals, like the corporate logo, were also updated.

What they didn’t do, however, was fail to recognize the importance of social media in the rebrand.
