Highlights From ASI’s Ad Impressions Study
We uncover the surprising findings and best strategies to take from ASI’s annual comprehensive report on the power of promo.
Clear proof of the effectiveness of promotional products is our number-one goal in providing our ASI Ad Impressions Study. Helmed by ASI Senior Executive Director Nate Kucsma, the study has collected the views of hundreds of thousands of consumers since its inception in 2009. For the 2023 version of the Ad Impressions study – which is free to download – Kucsma surveyed nearly 25,000 U.S. consumers, and used their responses to demonstrate the number of impressions as well as the influence and longevity of promotional products.
“It really has grown into what I already consider to be the definitive means of showing how strong of an advertising medium promo products are,” says Kucsma of the Ad Impressions study.
He adds: “[This study] really helps to show the value to people who are going to be using this information to grow their business.”
In this Promo Insiders episode, Kucsma and Editor-in-Chief C.J. Mittica discuss highlights from the study, including why promo products are verifiably everyone’s favorite form of advertising, how apparel generates the most impressions, and the way to demonstrate value and circumvent price objections using stats like cost per impression.
