There’s a new financial leader in the C-suite at GroupeSTAHL.

The Michigan-headquartered company has hired Derek Nugent as chief financial officer.

Nugent has 16 years of finance/accounting leadership experience in sectors that include technology, automotive, manufacturing and defense. He joins a firm that’s well-known in the promotional products space as a global manufacturer, distributor and direct supplier of garment decoration equipment, materials, transfer technology and decorated apparel.

As CFO, Nugent will assess GroupeSTAHL’s business plan and help extend the reach of the brand while exploring what the firm described as emerging opportunities.
