BR Printers Acquires Casa del Mar

The deal involves two California-based companies in the printing and promo products industry.

San Jose, CA-headquartered BR Printers has acquired Casa del Mar, a San Diego-based promotional products distributorship. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

BR Printers, which has additional locations in Colorado, Kentucky, Wisconsin and California, said that the capabilities Casa del Mar offers, its strong position in key geographic markets, and relationships with some household name brands made the partnership attractive.

“It made sense for us to expand our prominent Bay Area promotional marketing presence into the geographies that Casa del Mar supports,” said BR Printers CEO/President Adam DeMaestri in a press release.

Founded in 1994, Casa del Mar describes itself as a boutique-style logoed apparel and promotional product company that serves clients worldwide. The company’s capabilities include an in-house embroidery operation.

“The world-class team here in San Diego, combined with the BR talent nationwide, opens up more opportunities to discuss the recall power of custom branded products and apparel with a wider audience,” said Casa del Mar President Susan Thompson.

Founded in 1992, BR Printers began as a small digital printer serving the publishing industry. Over time, the company has grown into a multi-faceted provider of print and marketing services. Those services include a promotional marketing team.

“The complimentary solutions of the BR Promotional Marketing and Casa del Mar teams provides companies in any sector with uniquely tailored campaigns to reach prospective customers, welcome new employees, reward loyal customers, acknowledge employee milestones and more,” the firms said in a press release. “The teams provide strategy, product sourcing, branding, kitting and fulfillment into custom curated packaging with shipping directly to intended recipients — making it easy for companies to execute highly memorable promotional products campaigns.”
