One of the biggest suppliers in promo has hired an industry veteran with experience at multiple Top 40 companies to a key leadership role.

Hit CEO CJ Schmidt said Brockschmidt is a perfect fit for the supplier.

“Kim and I have been friends for years, and I’ve always admired the relationships she’s had with so many distributors,” Schmidt, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, told ASI Media. Schmidt continued: “Kim brings a strong element of professionalism, dedication and years of knowledge to the table, which will help us become even closer with the clients/buying groups that she will be managing.”

Brockschmidt was most recently vice president of strategic accounts-USA at Top 40 supplier Stormtech (asi/89864). Prior to that, she spent nearly 19 years at Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070), earning a succession of promotions that took her from territory rep to vice president of major accounts. Early career experience included working as an independent sales rep for supplier A.T. Cross Company (asi/47520) and as a regional sales manager for Norwood.

The Legacy Group, a buying group of nine promotional marketing agencies, named Brockschmidt its co-Supplier Representative of the Year just last month.

“I have a passion for the promo industry,” Brockschmidt has said. “Every day is a new opportunity.”

Based on reported 2021 North American promo product revenue of $433.8 million, Hit Promotional Products ranked fifth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
