Terry Woodhams is retiring from his position as regional vice president of sales at Top 40 promotional products distributor HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000). He has more than 30 years in the industry.

Woodhams started in the promotional products industry in 1988 after spending two decades working in corporate management. He was the owner of American Pacific Promotions, a successful California distributorship, which he sold to HALO in late 2017. After the sale, Woodhams stayed on with HALO to manage several northern California account executives.

“I built a good business and sold it to a great company,” Woodhams said.

HALO executives lauded Woodhams’ impact on the firm and wished him well on his retirement. “Terry built an excellent team, and we were fortunate to have his insight and guidance these past few years,” said Jim Stutz, executive vice president of sales and business development.

Woodhams said that in retirement he plans to travel with his wife, Susan, and to stay active in the community and work on personal projects.

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $605 million, HALO Branded Solutions ranks third on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry. HALO’s five-year average annual growth rate is 26.3% – the fastest among promo’s top five largest distributors.
