Promo products distributor Lapine is based in Connecticut; adm Group is a global brand execution business with offices in 33 countries.
London, U.K.-headquartered adm Group, a global brand execution business, has acquired Stamford, CT-based promotional products distributor Lapine (asi/249352). Financial terms of the deal were not released.
“Fueling conversations between brands and consumers is at the core of what we do, so we look forward to the added benefits adm Group will bring to our clients, with their proprietary technology, in-depth expertise and geographical coverage,” said Noah Lapine, CEO of Lapine. “We feel adm Group is a great cultural fit for Lapine and are excited to begin this journey together.”
With 46 offices spread across 33 countries, adm Group specializes in being process experts that aim to consult, reengineer and execute global supply chain solutions that focus on delivering efficiencies in a sustainable way. Solutions the company offers include promotional and point-of-sale activations, campaign development, product and packaging design, global sourcing, logistics and more.
Lapine has been in business for about 60 years. Clients have included household names like Foot Locker, Ace Hardware, Save the Children, Cuisinart, Weber and others. The distributorship strives to provide what executives described as end-to-end solutions for customers – work that includes digital, design, logistical and program management services.
Adm Group announced its purchase of Lapine in conjunction with the acquisition of Miami-based Effectus, a business process and strategy consulting company. Executives at adm said the acquisitions are part of a strategic growth plan to further enhance its client offering, with access to new skillsets and a strengthened local supply chain capability. They foresee complementary synergies between Lapine, Effectus and adm group.
“Lapine has a longstanding, proud history as a well-run business with outstanding talent, clients and capabilities,” said Justin Barton, global CEO of adm Group. “Together with Effectus, we see great strategic alignment between their vision for their clients and the service adm provides for our own. We are excited about the breadth this will add to our service offering and technology, and the growth opportunities this partnership brings.”
