PCNA Pledges Support for Ukrainian Refugees

A percentage of March sales will go to humanitarian relief during the ongoing crisis in Europe.

Top 40 supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897) has announced that 1% of total March product sales will be donated to Ukrainian refugee relief efforts in Poland. PF Concept, the Netherlands-based European division of PCNA’s parent company Polyconcept, has operations across Europe, including in Poznan, Poland.

“We recognize the plight of the Ukrainian people and are eager to lend our support,” said Neil Ringel, CEO of Polyconcept. “Amongst the more than 1 million people already displaced, as well as all those who remain in Ukraine, are the friends and families of our teammates in Eastern Europe. This is our way of showing solidarity. Similar to our partnership with 1% for the Planet, which directs 1% of eco-product sales to environmental nonprofits, this allows us to use our business to help those in need.”

PF Concept is also distributing blankets, clothing and power banks to refugees in Poland. In addition to funds raised through purchases from PCNA, direct donations may be made to Red Cross Poland.

“We Europeans are shocked and deeply concerned about this unprovoked attack on the Ukraine and on democracy itself,” Ralf Oster, CEO of PFConcept, told ASI Media’s Chris Ruvo last week. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people.”

With $512.3 million in North American promotional products revenue in 2020, PCNA ranks fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
