Danny Braunstein Joins BAMKO’s Canadian Team
He’s assuming the role of Director of Client Success.
Danny Braunstein, formerly vice president of sales and business development at Talbot Promo (asi/341500), is the new Director of Client Success for the Canadian division of Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431), effective immediately. In his new role, Braunstein will spearhead business development efforts to expand BAMKO’s presence in the Canadian promo market.
BAMKO, headquartered in Los Angeles, works with global brands like Peloton, Amazon, TikTok, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons and the Rolling Stones. The company has 15 global offices, sourcing operations in China and Vietnam and 2.5 million square feet of warehousing and fulfillment centers, including in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
“There’s no one else out there that can match BAMKO’s ability to develop impactful and creatively inspired merchandise programs,” said Braunstein in a statement. He will join a growing BAMKO team in Canada, including Ian Huntley, vice president of Canadian operations for the Top 40 firm.
Braunstein told ASI Canada that, after a “wonderful run” at Talbot, he’s excited to continue building on his expertise with enterprise clients’ larger programs and grow that business in Canada as part of BAMKO.
“They’re focused on the same growth in Canada as they’ve had in the U.S.,” said Braunstein. “They’re building a team here to facilitate that growth. BAMKO isn’t a household name in Canada, but I’m looking forward to building the brand here and waving the flag.”
Joshua White, BAMKO’s senior vice president of strategic growth, told ASI Canada they’re “thrilled” to welcome Braunstein to their growing Canadian team.
“BAMKO's philosophy is that great companies are built on a combination of great culture and extraordinary talent,” he said. “The addition of Danny to the team allows us to add another highly talented and proven performer who exemplifies our culture of growth and positivity, and who recognizes the joy that comes from embracing challenge as opportunity. These are exciting days here at BAMKO, and we’re thrilled that high-character, talented performers are fired up about the opportunity to be a part of what we’re building.”
With 2019 North American promotional products revenue of $108.6 million U.S., BAMKO ranked 19th on Counselor’s most recent list of the 40 largest distributors in the industry.
