The company will donate a portion of the proceeds to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides resources, programs and services to survivors of law officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

American Solutions for Business (asi/120075) has integrated its proprietary e-commerce technology (ACES) with FAST Platform, a technology company with a network of 20+ decorators around the country. Orders are placed on ACES, then directed to the FAST platform, which routes orders to the end-user’s closest decorator.

Hirsch Gift (asi/61005) announced it will be producing masks while Harris County, TX, issues its stay-at-home order.

Redwood Classics Apparel (asi/81627), an Ontario-based supplier that specializes in Made-in-Canada apparel, will produce 1,000 fabric masks for Michael Garron Hospital. Textile Manufacturing Company Ltd. has donated the materials that Redwood will use. The masks are not intended to replace surgical or procedural masks, but they can be used by those who need to be within six feet of other people, especially vulnerable populations and the elderly. COVID-19 “is a crisis of unprecedented proportions. We are grateful to companies like Redwood Classics Apparel for stepping up, mobilizing others in the textile industry and answering our call for help to keep our community safe,” says Mitze Mourinho, president of Michael Garron Hospital Foundation. Redwood president Kathy Cheng said: “It is a privilege to give back to Toronto’s hospitals. Although our factory is shut down, we feel an obligation to do whatever we can to give back to the city that has given us so much. Our volunteer skeleton team is local and can react quickly. This is a major reminder that supporting local businesses is so important."
