Maple Ridge Farms Donates 10% of Sales to Support Ukraine
The Wisconsin-based food-gifts supplier sent the money to CARE’s Ukraine Crisis Fund.
Maple Ridge Farms (asi/68680) has made good on a pledge to help the people of Ukraine.
The Mosinee, WI, promotional products supplier, which specializes in food gifts, said earlier this spring that it would donate 10% of sales over a several-week period (through April 30) to CARE’s Ukraine Crisis Fund.

Through the initiative, Maple Ridge Farms generated $11,000 for the humanitarian organization, which aims to raise $20 million to aid at least 4 million Ukrainians by providing food, water, hygiene kits, support services and direct cash assistance. CARE is prioritizing women, girls, families and the elderly, the nonprofit organization said.
“Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine,” said Jodie Schillinger, executive vice president of Maple Ridge Farms. “During times like this, we must fully engage our empathy and consistently deliver opportunities to those without. Change happens one act at a time, and CARE’s crisis response allows us to reach those who are most vulnerable.”

Maple Ridge Farms also supported the PromoCares’ #Ukraine4Good initiative with an employee donation match of $1,000. In addition, the supplier donated underwear to help Ukrainian refugees in need of the essential wearables.
Russia’s unprovoked invasion of neighboring Ukraine in February – and the subsequent, ongoing war – has triggered a humanitarian crisis.
“The whole team at Maple Ridge Farms empathizes with the victims of this violence and wants to contribute, if even in a small way, to their relief,” said Maple Ridge President Tom Riordan.
Companies and organizations across the promotional products industry have been launching and/or participating in charitable initiatives to support the people of Ukraine.
