HPG Locations Announce Reopenings

The Top 40 supplier’s locations have begun the return to full production capacity.

With locations across North America, Top 40 supplier HPG’s (asi/61966) brands have remained in varying stages of operation since mid-March. Now, the company has announced reopenings at key locations.

After mandated shutdowns were ordered in March, Origaudio in Fountain Valley, CA, joined operational forces with Salt Lake City-based HandStands to continue providing tech products and other useful accessories to remote workers. Best Promotions in Balch Springs, TX, was deemed an essential business and as such, was able to keep a limited crew on hand to continue manufacturing protective face coverings. That location reopened for promo products sales in mid-May, and is now back to offering 80% of its product line.

Debco, Hub’s location in Toronto, will fully reopen Tuesday, June 9. “The team has been busy working behind the scenes to prepare for the reopening by doing pre-press for the backlogged orders that are waiting to be decorated,” said Alex Morin, vice president of sales, in a statement. “Strong inventory and our eager staff will pave the way for the reliable service that our customers have come to rely on.”

In New Ulm, MN, Beacon Promotions opened back up on May 4, with a smaller staff on hand and strict health and safety protocols in place. And in Boston, which was heavily impacted by COVID-19, Hub’s headquarters reopened in late May with social-distancing measures in place.

“Throughout this process, I have been continually amazed at our customers’ understanding and willingness to work with us during this unprecedented time,” said HPG CEO Chris Anderson, in a statement. “Today, our customers’ patience has paid off, as all of HPG U.S. operations are open for business. The HPG team has hit the ground running in rapidly fulfilling prior orders and is standing by to take new orders for our innovative products and services.”
