Counselor’s Decorated PPE Challenge

Now’s the chance to show off your inventive and interesting imprinted personal protective equipment.

As shutdown measures tied to the coronavirus pandemic are being lifted and offices and stores begin to reopen, the demand for imprinted face masks has continued to grow. Companies want their workers uniformed in personal protective equipment (PPE) bearing their logos and branding, and many citizens want to express themselves with a face covering that shows off their personality, in addition to helping to protect against the spread of the virus.

We’ve already seen creativity when it comes to PPE, including professional sports teams selling logoed masks and ’80s band Devo coming out with “Energy Dome” face shields. Even Carole Baskin, of the Netflix hit Tiger King, released feline-faced masks bearing her signature “Hey all you cool cats and kittens” catchphrase. In addition, distributors and decorators in the promotional products industry have been imprinting cloth masks for their clients in a variety of ways – including laser etching, patches, rhinestones, screen printing and embroidery.

We’d like to showcase industry creativity in these unprecedented times by highlighting the most unique decorated PPE that’s being made right now. ASI’s editors will choose the most interesting submissions and then let readers vote for their favorites through an online poll. The top vote-getters will be featured in an upcoming issue of Counselor magazine.

To participate in the Decorated PPE Challenge, submit a high-resolution photo of the mask or other PPE you’ve created to thegel@asicentral.com with the subject line PPE Challenge and fill out the form below by Friday, June 19.
