Infographic: The Supplier-Distributor Relationship in Canada
New data from ASI Research shows that, after a challenging few years during the pandemic, communication between the two parties is strong, and nearly 90% of orders are arriving on-time and without errors.
This first installment in our series of Canadian State of the Industry infographics shows that North American suppliers and distributors report their relationship is strong, while the number of orders arriving on time and without mistakes is about the same in both Canada and the U.S.
Meanwhile, distributors across the board say they purchased from more suppliers in 2022 compared to the previous year, including Jacqueline McCuaig, owner of Spruce Grove, AB-based Spruce It Up Promotions (asi/332861), who also reported nine of 10 orders arrived on time. “My business is growing,” she says, “and my clients are asking for different types of items at a variety of price points.”
