DreamSeat Acquires The Stadium Chair Company Line
Stadium Chair’s facility in Lenexa, KS, will continue to operate, executives said.
DreamSeat, which offers custom-logoed commercial-grade furnishings and stadium seating, has acquired The Stadium Chair Company (asi/79912) line of products. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
DreamSeat is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY, and has its main distribution center in Landrum, SC. It will continue to use Stadium Chair’s facility in Lenexa, KS, as well as the shipping facilities of other key partners, the company said.
Founded in 2000, Stadium Chair offers various styles of brandable seating for sports arena/sports stadium applications. DreamSeat’s offerings are designed for use in settings that include sports stadiums, educational institutions, firehouses, the hospitality industry, and corporate boardrooms.
In announcing the deal, DreamSeat said in a statement: “Through this integration we recognize the strengths of Stadium Chair. By combining them with the innovation and focus of DreamSeat, we will be able to deliver not only a great product, but a whole new type of customer experience that is based on the more than 17 years of experience DreamSeat has in the custom furniture and stadium seating market.”
Going forward with the Stadium Chair integration, DreamSeat plans to streamline processes and make new tools available to improve customer experience.
“Once that is finalized, we will begin the process of introducing new products and practices to the Stadium Chair customer base,” said DreamSeat. “The experience of both brands will drive innovation and we look forward to introducing a variety of new products which are designed to meet the needs of our customers and dealers.”
