Relationship-Building Was the Focus at iPROMOTEu’s Latest Supplier Showcase
The Top 40 distributorship’s in-person event brought together leading affiliates and top-notch suppliers.
Building stronger business relationships to power greater mutual success was the focus of iPROMOTEu’s (asi/232119) latest Supplier Showcase.
The in-person event, held at the Park Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C., saw the Top 40 promotional products distributorship bring together 25 of its top affiliates and representatives from preferred industry suppliers for networking and one-on-one meetings.
The focused connections led to discussions that enabled suppliers to ascertain a better understanding of the distributor affiliates’ projects and needs, organizers said, which helps suppliers tailor recommendations to meet particular objectives. iPROMOTEu affiliates also learned about trends and upcoming product launches, and were privy to exclusive offers.
“iPROMOTEu’s Supplier Showcase is an amazing platform to dig deeper into your vendors’ product lines and capabilities,” said Mary Quinlan of Q Group (asi/466571), an iPROMOTEu affiliate based in Bend, OR. “You also create personal relationships that will carry you through years to come when tackling unusual projects or when issues arise.”
Suppliers praised the Supplier Showcase, too. “The event offered the perfect mix of work and fun that allowed us to create relationships, business opportunities and friendships that will continue well beyond the event,” said Jessica Majors, national account manager with IMAGEN Brands (asi/93990), a former Top 40 supplier that’s now part of current Top 40 supplier Koozie Group (asi/40480).
The Supplier Showcase also featured social occasions, including an opening-night dinner and a moonlight tour of Washington D.C.’s historical monuments.
“Our Supplier Showcase series has proven successful for many years, and I’m thrilled to say I believe this was our best one yet,” said iPROMOTEu President/CEO Ross Silverstein, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “The relationships between our affiliates and suppliers grew even stronger.”
iPROMOTEu is planning to host four Supplier Showcase events in 2022. The most recent was the second of those. The next is scheduled for September, again in Washington, D.C.
With reported 2020 North American promo product revenue of $165 million, iPROMOTEu ranked 14th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. The new rankings will be revealed later this month. iPROMOTEu consists of more than 1,100 independent distributors and salespeople throughout the United States and Canada who affiliate with the firm for a suite of backend supports and more.
