Facilisgroup Makes $12,230 Charitable Donation
The money will support organizations that help children in the Nashville area.
Facilisgroup, a software-as-a-service company and partnering community within the promotional products industry, has donated a total of $12,230 to two organizations that help youth in the Nashville community.
Facilisgroup made the donations to the Gabe’s Chemo Duck Program and the United Way of Greater Nashville’s Stuff the Bus program as part of its Facilis Cares initiative, which centers on the organization making positive impacts on communities it visits. Facilisgroup was in Nashville in June for its Partner Summit, a three-day in-person event dedicated to industry education, innovation and community.
“When our distributor and supplier partners come together for a greater purpose, it’s truly inspiring,” said Facilisgroup President Ashley McCune. “We’re harnessing the power of our amazing community to make a difference in people’s lives, and it’s so uplifting to see.”
Facilisgroup offered a donation match to what was contributed by their partner community, leading to a final donation amount of $12,320. “We said we wanted to leave Nashville just a little bit better than we found it. The generosity of our community absolutely made that a reality,” added McCune.
Gabe’s Chemo Duck is a nonprofit that supports children and families living with cancer. The Stuff the Bus program provides essential school supplies to children in need.
Facilisgroup members were excited to be supporting such causes. “It's all about love and I can't think of a better way to show that during our brief visit than bringing a smile to these brave children of Nashville,” said Alf Rhea, president of Business Innovations (asi/152930).
