Leaderpromos Earns B Corp Certification
The Ohio-based Top 40 distributor says its global recycling programs, sustainable and purposeful merch selection and increased philanthropic efforts helped it earn the distinction.
Top 40 distributor Leaderpromos (asi/287087) has earned its B Corp certification.
The Columbus, OH-headquartered firm joins a growing movement seeking out the designation, which recognizes companies that meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Lab, the nonprofit that assesses companies, has certified more than 6,000 B Corps from 150 industries across 80 countries.
“We are incredibly honored to join such a respected international community of organizations dedicated to making social and environmental consciousness an integral part of their business strategies,” said Stephanie Leader, founder and CEO of Leaderpromos. “This certification demonstrates our commitment to supporting our valued team members, investing in the environment and communities, and partnering with clients to achieve sustainability goals.”
Leaderpromos is wholly woman-owned and WBENC-certified. Among the achievements that helped it earn its B Corp status, the distributor said it’s put an increased focus on philanthropic efforts, upped its catalog of sustainable and purposeful merchandise, added valuable employee benefits and instituted successful global recycling programs.
