Tony Pinto Retires From Promo
The multi-line rep, who spent 25 years with 3M, has been in the industry for nearly 40 years.
Anthony “Tony” Pinto is calling it quits after nearly 40 years in the promotional products industry.
For the last 15 years, Pinto owned and operated Pinto Marketing, a multi-line rep firm, first in Texas and then in Ohio. During that time, Pinto said, he helped to introduce German pen supplier UMA (asi/92469) into the North American promo market. Prior to that, he worked for a quarter of a century at Top 40 supplier 3M/Promotional Markets (asi/91240), where he said he was “one of the original pioneers” to educate, market and sell the 3M custom imprinted Post-it Note, first in California, then in Georgia.
“I have had a great ride having made so many lifelong friends across the country, both on the supplier and distributor side,” Pinto said. “I learned and was mentored by so many industry giants like Russ Woodlief, Bob Waldorf, Gene Cesario, Fran Ford and a few more. I say goodbye, but, like many, never say never.”
