Geiger Promotes Worden To Regional Sales VP Role
Long-term loyalty and a track record of success have paid off for Kerry Worden.
Geiger (asi/202900) announced Monday that Worden, who is now in her 25th year with the Top 40 firm, is being promoted to Regional Sales Vice President for the distributorship’s southeastern region. Outgoing southeastern regional sales VP Lorrayne Mancari will help Worden acclimate to her new role, Geiger said.
“(Kerry) has held key roles in the company, and this is a natural progression in her career,” said Chris McKee, Geiger’s VP of sales and marketing. “With Kerry’s experience in the industry and the region, she is well-positioned to assist our sales partners in growing their businesses. We couldn’t be happier to promote such a vital position from within."
When Worden joined Geiger in 1994, she initially worked in the firm’s headquarters in Lewiston, ME. She later moved to Florida and became manager of Geiger’s Fort Lauderdale office. In 2007, Worden earned a promotion to Regional Service Manager – a position that enabled her to work at Geiger field offices across the country. She holds a BS in business administration from the University of Southern Maine.
An animal lover with a heart for giving back to her community, Worden volunteers at the Humane Society of Broward County and for the cities of Oakland Park and Lauderdale-By-the-Sea for parks and beach clean-up. She lives in Fort Lauderdale with her dog, Lexi, and cat, Lily. “We are thrilled that Kerry is moving into the role of Regional Sales Vice President for the Southeast,” said McKee.
With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $185.5 million, Geiger ranked 10th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
