The Pro Towels Family of Brands has a new chief operating officer. The Pittsburgh-based supplier announced that Allan Benson has been promoted to the COO role. Benson, who has been with Pro Towels for about year, previously served as vice president of business development.

“As the Pro Towels family continues to expand, we are happy to have Allan on board, especially with his industry expertise in decorating,” said Kevin Nord, president of the Pro Towels Family of Brands, which includes Pro Towels (asi/79750), Kanata Blanket Co., Neet Feet and Superior Decorating. 

During his first year with Pro Towels, Benson successfully led the transition of a company facility from a California location to Las Vegas. With more than 30 years of experience in the apparel industry, Benson has worked with top brands that include Nike, Under Armour and Adidas.

Additionally, Benson has managed various large manufacturing and decorating facilities worldwide. He’ll begin working out of Pro Towels’ South Carolina facility this month. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work with the Pro Towels Family – to move the needle in 2018 and beyond,” said Benson.

Pro Towels has locations on both the east and west coast. The company offers in-house screen printing, sublimation and embroidery services to support a product line of beach, golf and sport towels.
