WOWLine (asi/98360) has a new director of sales.

The Syosset, NY-based promotional products supplier has promoted John Short to the important leadership position. Short, who was previously national sales manager, has been with WOWLine for four-and-a-half years.

Short is an industry veteran, having held sales roles at Top 40 supplier Ariel Premium Supply (asi/36730); Bodek & Rhodes, now part of Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063); and PWS (asi/75731). He sees ample opportunity to grow business at WOWLine, which specializes in offering toys, games, puzzles and novelties.

“I am truly honored,” Short said of his promotion. “I am looking forward to continuing to work with our distributor customers and to help them continue to be successful.”

Short’s promotion wasn’t the only new sales-related move at WOWLine.

The company also announced that Nick Bombardiere is rising to the role of regional sales manager for the eastern region. Bombardiere was previously a junior sales associate and has been with WOWLine for four years. He will report to Short.

Beyond its core product categories, WOWLine has branched out in recent years to offer kitchen items, health and wellness products, pet goods and more.
