Sure, you’ve got other things on your mind this time of year. The ASI Media team, on the other hand, is already in an SOI kind of mood. Our annual surveys of both distributors and suppliers have been sent out, and we’re already batting around ideas to make the 2023 edition of State of the Industry our best yet. It’s just part of the significant legwork we happily take on to bring you the most comprehensive snapshot of the promotional products industry.

We’ve got just the thing to celebrate SOI’s half-birthday. Below are visualizations of our Counselor Top 40 distributor and supplier lists, spanning from 2000 to 2022. The changes in the past two decades are remarkable. In fact, thanks to consolidation, closures and shifting market dynamics, only 14 distributors and 10 suppliers from 2000 are still on the list in 2022.
