In recent years, Simon has been the lead architect of arguably the industry’s most aggressive and successful merger and acquisition strategy, making him and HALO – promo’s largest distributor – a truly powerful force. The run of acquisitions continued in September when HALO acquired New York City-based distributor Captiv8 Promotions. In preceding years, HALO had acquired a number of former Top 40 distributors, such as Axis Promotions, CSE and Sunrise Identity – moves made a reality because of Simon’s deft leadership. With Simon in charge, HALO completed a headline-grabbing rebrand in 2021 as it marched toward anticipated sales growth.
