Simsolo drops three spots on this year’s list due to lower influence scores from the Power 50, as well some noteworthy changes at the top of the eighth-largest supplier in the industry. Last year, Mark Seymour left as chief sales officer, and in August, Simsolo’s father, Joe, retired as CEO. Randy Hales took over as CEO, and Jason Buchanan was named president of sales. In recent years, Simsolo has been an increasingly visible face and has taken a more active role at Next Level, which is known for cool, fashion-forward apparel and has been a longtime favorite on the festival circuit.
