Without trade shows and live events in 2020, Showdown Displays faced its biggest challenge to date with sales falling over 37%, even as Bruellman and Walsh guided the Showdown team in repurposing many of the supplier’s products for health/safety and social distancing measures to cushion its fall. With trade shows steadily returning this year, so too has Showdown’s business. And just like last year, Bruellman and Walsh (who debuted on the Power 50 in 2020) aren’t taking difficulties lying down. In fact, to combat supply chain disruption, Showdown has been working to reshore to its European facilities to avoid expedited air freight costs from Asia. And thanks to Bruellman’s guidance and Walsh’s relentless relationship-building, Showdown remains a ubiquitous firm in the displays category.
