As with many companies, it’s been difficult for Pinnacle Designs to find new staff – but once potential employees have a chance to experience the team’s dynamic, it’s easy to convince them to join. “If we can get them in the door,” Nord says, “they see that sparkle that makes us special.”

COVID Changes: Pinnacle has been fully in office since May of 2020 and has no plans to move to a remote or hybrid set up. “I think that’s greatly impacted our culture and morale, being together each day,” says Nord. Since the start of the pandemic, the company has found various ways to celebrate milestones, host fun activities and hold outdoor gatherings.

Parting Tip: “Ask key interview questions that get to the person’s core values,” says Nord. “When that’s a match, the magic comes from that!”
