Under the leadership of Isaacson and Gemline President Frank Carpenito, Lawrence, MA-based Gemline’s sales grew last year by over 10%. The company, known for its well-curated partnerships with high-quality, innovative brands, did deals last year with SoundCore by Anker, Courant, Slowtide, PaperMate and Sharpie, and published its first Corporate Social Responsibility report, in which it disclosed that installed nearly 2,000 solar-powered panels expected to reduce Gemline’s energy consumption by 43%, switched to LED lighting and raised almost $600,000 for charity. Notably, Isaacson hosted webinars to raise awareness for the war in Ukraine, one of which featured him interviewing the Mayor of Kyiv. On a sad note, Isaacson’s father, Sam – Gemline’s founder – passed away in January.
