New to the list, Tekweld increased its sales nearly 10% last year thanks to healthy demand for decorated PPE and sanitizer (a category it offered pre-pandemic), which accounted for a quarter of the company’s sales in 2020. The up year continues a streak of 17 consecutive years of growth – every year since the company was founded in 2004. And the accolades are beginning to stack up too, from the Counselor Distributor Choice Awards (victories in the sunglasses category this year and last) to founder and President Taylor Tadmor winning Counselor’s 2019 Supplier Entrepreneur of the Year. Tadmor, along with CEO and industry veteran Scott Slade, aim to keep Tekweld on an upward trajectory, with the goal of adding another $5 million in sales in 2021.
