The Belgian apparel wholesaler also highlighted its support of more than 2,000 organic cotton farmers in Tanzania in the report.

Belgian apparel brand Stanley/Stella (asi/89011) has released its 2025 sustainability report, noting a 14% reduction in its carbon footprint last year, compared to a 2022 baseline, among other achievements.

“We like to ‘say what we do and do what we say’ as we believe that sustainability is, first and foremost, a question of commitment and transparency,” said Jean Chabert, founder and CEO. “This report outlines our commitments and the steps we’re taking to improve our value chain for a healthier planet.”

Stanley/Stella sustainability report

Stanley/Stella (asi/89011) has released its 2025 sustainability report.

In 2024, Stanley/Stella unveiled a decarbonization plan, with an overall goal to reduce its relative carbon footprint 30% by 2030. Between 2022 – the baseline year – and 2024, the supplier shared that it had reduced relative emissions 14.1%. “We are now almost halfway through to our 2030 target,” the company noted in its report. “However, we will of course ensure the reductions continue happening by continuing the decarbonization efforts in all steps of our supply chain.”

Another highlight from the report: Stanley/Stella supported more than 2,000 organic cotton farmers in Tanzania with non-GMO seeds and hands-on training, enabling the company to receive GOTS-certified cotton from the source.

The company also noted its support of the Mobile Hospital project, supporting the workers of partner factories and communities. In 2024, the project gave more than 50,000 people from 39 villages access to free medical care. Stanley/Stella also funded the installation of 16 wells to provide more than 10,000 people with access to clean, drinkable water.
