Imprint Engine (asi/190620), a distributor that offers a brand experience platform, has an ambitious new goal: Achieve $100 million in global revenue. The company announced that Colin Loughran will join the company as global chief revenue officer, a leadership change that Imprint Engine says will help it reach that goal. Loughran has spent two decades in the promotional products industry, including several years as global operations and merchandising director at Counselor Top 40 supplier Goldstar (asi/73295). He is also the founder of Five Fisherwick, a consulting firm he founded earlier this year to help promotional merchandise companies grow.

In his new role, Loughran will focus on aligning sales, marketing and operations into one unified team and improving client experiences across North America and other regions. He will be based out of Imprint Engine’s Dublin headquarters.

“The industry is fragmented, but Imprint Engine offers a unique convergence of creative excellence, owned global logistics and powerful software,” Loughran said. “I look forward to aligning our global teams to unlock the full potential of this infrastructure, ensuring our clients experience the same reliability in Singapore and London as they do in San Francisco.”

Imprint Engine was co-founded in 2012 by now-CEO Caleb Gilbertson and Travis Veit based on the belief that a “swag makeover” was long overdue. Gilbertson and Veit knew end-buyers wanted to work with creatives and innovators, rather than one-off, transactional vendors. And so, Imprint Engine was fueled up.

Loughran’s appointment marks a critical transition in Imprint Engine’s leadership structure. Gilbertson will shift his primary focus toward product innovation, letting Loughran take the reins on revenue leadership. Gilbertson will work directly with the company’s product and engineering teams to accelerate the integration of AI into its proprietary corporate gifting platform.

“To reach the $100 million mark, we need to be firing on all cylinders, both in how we serve our clients globally and how we innovate our technology,” said Gilbertson. “Colin’s arrival is a game changer. With him leading our revenue strategy from our EMEA headquarters, I can double down on working with our engineering teams.”

Today, the distributor operates out of Ireland, India and the U.S.
