“We’re thrilled to have Francis Pierrel join LR Paris,” said Charles Doligé, partner. “His visionary insights into the retail landscape will empower us to bring a consumer-centric approach to our industry, bridging the gap between corporate strategy and consumer engagement.”

Most recently, Pierrel served as CEO of a well-known fashion brand, where he spearheaded brand management, drove merchant spirit and accelerated international growth. Prior to that, he served as president of stores and e-commerce for Ralph Lauren and as CEO of Lacoste North America.

Pierrel has also occupied senior leadership roles in wholesale, retail and e-commerce at Esprit and Diesel across the U.S. and Europe. His extensive background in retail and fashion will be instrumental in reshaping LR Paris’ approach to the traditionally B2B branded-merch sector, according to the distributor.

LR Paris says Pierrel’s appointment comes at a crucial time for the $26.1 billion promo industry, which remains fragmented despite its size. Pierrel aims to apply retail strategies to the B2B model to energize the sector.

“I’m embracing this challenge because I believe not only in the power of branded products but also that the industry as a whole benefits from the principles of consumer goods,” Pierrel said. “Every product should be worth keeping, especially when it carries the logo of one of LR Paris’ prestigious clients.”

Under Pierrel’s leadership, LR Paris will build on its legacy as a third-generation business while pushing the boundaries of innovation in branded products. The company plans to expand its global footprint, enhance its product offerings and leverage technology to meet the evolving needs of its diverse clientele.

LR Paris also recently hired Ivanka Jauregui as its new supply chain officer. Jauregui has more than 20 years of experience, including significant roles at Procter & Gamble and Chick-fil-A. “Her proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead global teams will enhance our operations, focusing on exceptional client experiences and fostering a culture of continuous improvement,” LR Paris noted in a LinkedIn posting about the hiring.

In business since 1959, LR Paris is known for its full-service agency and bespoke approach to promo gifting and packaging. The distributor serves government dignitaries, global corporation and luxury brands, working with more than 4,000 clients. LR Paris has worked with the past four U.S. presidential administrations and the Department of State. Other notable clients include Estée Lauder, American Express, Marriott Bonvoy and Boeing.
