Prime Line To Expand South Carolina Facility by 100,000 Square Feet

The hard goods division of Counselor Top 40 supplier S&S Activewear (asi/84358) announced that it’s adding 100,000 square feet of space to its warehouse in Gaffney, SC.

Executives said the bigger space will empower Prime Line to scale operations, create local jobs and deliver top-notch service to its promotional products distributor clients. Prime Line plans to implement a warehouse management system across its entire network – a move leaders said will streamline operations and production, leading to swifter order fulfillment, fewer errors and enhanced reliability.
“Our Gaffney location plays a critical role in our national distribution strategy,” said Eric Levin, general manager of Prime Line. “This 100,000-square-foot expansion, combined with new technology and increased headcount, is a major step forward in our commitment to service excellence and scalable growth.”
Currently operating two shifts from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET, the Gaffney facility also offers customer pick-up service between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET. With the expansion, Prime Line anticipates an increased operational capacity.
“This expansion further strengthens Prime Line’s footprint in Spartanburg County, one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing logistics and manufacturing hubs, and highlights the company’s long-term investment in the region’s workforce and infrastructure,” the supplier said in a statement.
Counselor Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063) acquired Prime Line, then a Top 40 supplier too, in 2017. S&S Activewear acquired alphabroder in 2024 – and with it the Prime Line brand. S&S has since built out Prime Line to be its own division.
Based on reported 2023 North American promotional products revenue of more than $2.1 billion, S&S Activewear ranked second on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
