HALO Names Two New VPs

The Top 40 distributor has appointed Erin Cannata vice president of marketing and Tina Ronafalvy vice president of data engineering and analytics.

Top 40 distributor HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) has hired two new vice presidents to its leadership suite.

The Sterling, IL-headquartered firm announced Tuesday, May 28, that it has appointed Erin Cannata vice president of marketing and Tina Ronafalvy vice president of data engineering and analytics.

“The addition of Erin Cannata and Tina Ronafalvy to HALO’s leadership team reinforces HALO’s commitment to attracting industry-leading talent and enhances the company’s breakthrough approach in providing innovative services and capabilities for clients,” the distributorship said in a statement.

Cannata, who reports to HALO Senior Vice President of Marketing Jeffrey Wurtzel, has nearly 20 years of experience in the promotional products industry. That includes about 13 years at Top 40 supplier S&S Activewear (asi/84358), where she had most recently been director of marketing.

At HALO, Cannata’s charge is to collaborate with the company’s sales leadership to drive growth for account executives and sales teams, and to lead on brand development, go-to-market strategies, and providing marketing tools and events.

“Erin’s track record in driving brand expansion and developing innovative marketing tools will continue to make HALO the leading distributor for industry sales professionals,” Wurtzel said.

Ronafalvy, who reports to HALO Chief Information Officer Amit Gaur, will spearhead the Top 40 firm’s strategic data initiatives. Executives said Ronafalvy has more than two decades of experience in data and analytics, including time working with artificial intelligence. Her varied background includes most recently serving as chief data and analytics officer at MODE Global, a parcel services and logistics company.

“Tina’s ability to harness data-driven insights will be instrumental in propelling HALO toward continued innovation and growth,” said Gaur. “Her leadership will significantly elevate our data capabilities.”

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of about $1 billion, HALO Branded Solutions ranked second on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. The new rankings are due out in the summer of 2024.
