IdentiBrands Powered by Proforma Acquires Absolute Ink Promotional Products

“Our growth strategy includes acquiring like-minded businesses, and purchasing Absolute Ink was a perfect opportunity for us to continue that growth,” said Greg Marks, owner of IdentiBrands. “The Proforma Mergers and Acquisitions Team supported us from the beginning through closing.”
Other affiliates of Counselor Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) have made acquisitions to kick off the year. Proforma announced that distributor owner Proforma Color Press closed a multimillion-dollar acquisition. (The acquired company wasn’t disclosed).
Earlier this month, Kalamazoo, MI-based Proforma Printhouse (asi/491465) acquired fellow Michigan distributor On Purpose Branding (asi/270903). The deal marks Proforma Printhouse’s fifth acquisition in five years.
Based on 2024 promotional product revenue of $662 million, Proforma ranks fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
