Merger Acquisition Blocks

“This is a big step forward for LBU and for our customers,” said Jordan Scaduto, partner and executive vice president of LBU Inc. “By bringing Donray fully into LBU, we’re not just adding printing capacity. We’re bringing decades of sublimation expertise, proven processes and top-tier equipment under one roof. Combined with our cut-and-sew, assembly and finishing capabilities, this truly moves us closer to being a complete one-stop shop that can move faster without sacrificing quality.”

Founded in 1986, Donray Printing has built a reputation as an expert in offset and digital dye sublimation printing, supporting a wide range of applications across apparel, soft goods and specialty products. With the merger, Donray’s printing equipment and supporting machinery will be integrated directly into LBU’s production ecosystem, expanding in-house capabilities and speed to market.

Donray’s roots trace back to early sublimation work, led by founder Art Ferriola, who helped introduce the digital printing technology to the New Jersey area before launching Donray Printing 40 years ago. Over the years, the company has expanded facilities, invested in advanced equipment and shifted toward higher-value finished products while continuing to support manufacturers with printed sublimation paper and technical know-how.

Ferriola will continue to lead Donray’s printing operations within LBU.

“For us, this merger is about focus and momentum,” Ferriola said. “Sublimation is a technical craft. It’s about understanding materials, color, consistency and scale. By joining LBU, we’re combining that deep printing knowledge with their production strength and infrastructure.”

He added that by joining forces, the two companies “can deliver faster turnarounds, tighter quality control and more complete solutions for customers who want everything handled in one place.”

Donray will continue to supply sublimation paper to customers across industries, according to Ferriola.

LBU, a vertically integrated manufacturer of custom bags, accessories and soft goods, was founded in 1993 and offers Made-in-USA production alongside global sourcing solutions.
