The supplier relocated regional operations from a roughly 35,000-square-foot space in northwest Houston. The plant will initially produce up to 500,000 emblems and patches per week. More than 150 employees currently work at the Houston site, including 50 jobs that were reshored from Asia. World Emblem said the company expects to add as many as 100 additional positions as demand for emblems, patches and promotional products grows.

Last year, the company announced plans to open a 100,000-square-foot facility in the Dominican Republic. World Emblem has more than 400 employees across the U.S. and 1,500 worldwide. The company produces approximately 250 million products annually for headwear, footwear, sports garments, uniforms and other apparel.
World Emblem ranks 12th on Counselor’s most recent list of top suppliers, with estimated 2024 North American promotional products revenue of $145 million.
