Kahle’s appointment is part of a 10-year succession plan developed with his father, VMS CEO Dolf Kahle.
Eric Kahle first joined the business in 2008 while he was still in high school, then operating the power floor washer. Following his graduation from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in business management and finance, the younger Kahle gained business experience at Bausch + Lomb and Howlett Farms before returning to the family business in 2017.
“I’m honored to take on the role of president of Visual Marketing Systems,” Eric Kahle said. “My focus will be on driving strategic initiatives that position VMS for long-term success. I’m excited to work alongside our talented team to innovate, expand our offerings and deliver even more value to our customers. At the same time, I’m committed to upholding the strong family legacy of hard work, innovation and excellence that has defined VMS for the past 63 years.”
Since returning to the company eight years ago, Eric Kahle has completed a training program involving accounting, production control, operations management and sales, and has served as the company’s chief revenue officer.
“Eric has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of what it takes to drive VMS forward,” Dolf Kahle said in a press release. “His vision and dedication make him the right person to lead us into this next chapter. As we continue to grow, I’m confident that Eric will build on our family’s legacy while embracing new opportunities to strengthen our business and serve our customers.”
