Vivid Ink President Stephen St. Cyr, who founded the company in 1999, is remaining aboard in an executive role. He’ll be managing the Baton Rouge and New Orleans locations. The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report indicated that Vivid Ink’s approximately 200 employees are joining Prisma, too.
Vivid was attracted to Prisma because of its national presence, similar service culture and advanced technology, executives said.
Prisma solutions include proprietary brand management software dokshop; programmatic direct mail backed by HITRUST security compliance; and a print platform that includes offset, digital and large-format capabilities.
“Vivid is proud to join Prisma,” said St. Cyr. “Our team’s culture of service and client base align well with Prisma, and we are excited to come into the brand leading with our expertise in the [quick-service restaurant] vertical among others. This acquisition is about giving Vivid the tools to better support our local and national customers.”
Prisma executives said they were keen on Vivid Ink’s expertise in large-format printing and branded merchandise solutions. “The addition of the two Vivid locations will double the company’s volumes in large format and branded merchandise and add custom decorating capabilities,” Prisma said in a statement.
Added Prisma CEO James Hill: “Prisma leads with its technology. Our print production is driven by the automation, e-commerce and programmatic technology solutions we offer our enterprise clients. This approach has been the catalyst for Prisma’s expansion.”
Prisma recently ranked No. 38 among the Top 300 Printing Companies by Printing Impressions. Prisma experienced a 26-spot jump from the previous year based on sales volume due to acquisitions and organic growth.
