Now in its 20th year, the Vancouver, BC-based B Corp distributor has built a reputation for providing ethically sourced, sustainable merch solutions.

Key Takeaways

Leadership Transition: Fairware (asi/191452) Co-founder Sarah White is retiring, while fellow Co-founder Denise Taschereau has become the sole owner of the merch-providing B Corp.

Future Vision: Taschereau said she aims to expand Fairware’s impact, collaborating with the leadership team to grow responsibly while adhering to the company’s core principles and mission.

Sarah White is retiring from Fairware (asi/191452), the promo products distributorship she co-founded 20 years ago, but the Vancouver, BC-based B Corp is continuing under the leadership of fellow Co-founder Denise Taschereau.

Taschereau is now the sole owner of Fairware, a Counselor Best Place to Work company known for its commitment to providing ethically sourced, sustainable branded merchandise solutions. She said the transition around White’s departure has been carefully planned. Operations at Fairware will remain, in effect, the same, with the same team and business values in place.

“We’ve built something really special here,” said Taschereau. “I’m proud of the brand we’ve created and excited to continue showing what’s possible when values and business go hand in hand. This next chapter is about growing our impact, staying curious and helping more organizations walk their talk through responsible merch.”

Taschereau noted she’ll be working closely with Fairware’s leadership team, Director of Operations Nicole Hirst and Director of Sales Charles Freund, to propel the company forward.

In a statement, White said she’s proud of what she’s helped build at Fairware and is excited for the next chapter in her life.

“It’s bittersweet to say goodbye,” White said. “The industry has changed so much over the past 20 years, and I’ve loved being part of that evolution. I can’t wait to see Denise and the team take things even further.”
