Registration is open for the 2018 ASI Power Summit – the annual three-day gathering of the best minds and most interesting people in the promotional products industry, taking place in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, October 14 through Tuesday, October 16.

To encourage you to join us, I put together a Top 10 list of reasons why this is the industry event of the entire year:

No. 1: The chance to be informed and inspired by the co-founder of Marquis Jet, one of the largest private jet card companies in the world, Jesse Itzler (@the100MileMan), our main keynote speaker. The entrepreneur is also an author, former rapper, part owner of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and husband of Sara Blakely, American billionaire businesswoman and Spanx founder (who’s also spoken at the ASI Power Summit). Jesse (pictured below) will share the secrets of living a successful, daring life, which includes making a 100-mile run in under 24 hours and power training with a Navy Seal.

No. 2: A full slate of soon-to-be-announced speakers and panelists, along with numerous industry powerhouses who will energize and empower participants while providing new business contacts and bold strategies for the future.

No. 3: Exclusivity. We limit the group to about 200 so everyone has time to really talk and connect between provocative panel discussions, keynotes and terrific networking.

No. 4: An incredible event location, the JW Marriott Starr Pass Hotel & Spa in Tucson. A luxurious resort (the largest in Tucson!), with mountain views, nightly tequila toast, hiking trails, a natural desert setting and luxurious day spa. It’s not a hotel – it’s an experience.

No. 5: Great golf. Three Arnold Palmer-designed nine-hole championship golf courses.

No. 6. Location, location, location. The resort is 12 miles from Tucson International Airport, 115 miles southeast of Phoenix and 70 miles north of Mexico, in a valley surrounded by five mountain ranges. The Sonoran Desert features millions of stars, historic barrios, mountain biking and hiking to ancient caves and stunning mountain peaks.

No. 7: Fabulous food. Tucson snagged the United States’ first UNESCO City of Gastronomy title, joining cities in Brazil, China, Colombia, Japan, Lebanon and Sweden. Along with a smoking-hot restaurant scene, Tucson’s downtown features tons of shops, bars and breweries.

No. 8: Inspiring art. Tucson is an art town, with numerous artists attracted by the famous southwestern light and desert glories.

No. 9: History in the making. Founded in 1776, Tucson is one of the oldest continually inhabited areas in North America. Famous movies filmed here include Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Revenge of the Nerds, Three Amigos and Major League.

No. 10: Sunshine. Tucson enjoys sunny skies 350+ days a year and is considered one of America’s sunniest cities.
