Business partners Michael Scott Cohen and Jon Alagem continue to climb the Counselor Power 50 list thanks to a collaborative approach to projects, excellent 2023 sales and strong influence ratings from their Power 50 peers, leaping 10 spots this year. The duo at the helm of Harper + Scott launched the distributor together in 2014 and have been pursuing innovative promo campaigns that keep them on the industry’s leading edge of technology and sustainability ever since, making their first appearance on the Power 50 in 2022 and being named ASI’s Distributor Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2023.

Their goal at Harper + Scott, also named a Counselor 2024 Best Place to Work, is to lean into company-wide collaboration to better work as a team and become “a well-oiled machine tailored for enterprise clients,” Cohen says.
