President Eric Simsolo says 2025 “was a pivotal year.” Next Level Apparel invested in its supply chain in a meaningful way, increasing production capacity while also enhancing transparency by joining Oritain, a forensic origin verification program, at the Gold level, and becoming a U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol member. In addition, “a major focus was expanding our nearshoring efforts, which helped improve agility, reduce risk and better support our customers' needs,” says Simsolo. In October, COO and apparel industry veteran Brett Bjorkman was named CEO, as founder and CEO Joe Simsoly retired.

The Torrance, CA-based supplier, which won an award for trade show design and was named a 2026 Counselor Best Place to Work, continues to expand operational efficiencies and point-of-sale initiatives to support distributor partners. “Our overarching goal for 2026 is what we call ‘Never Settle,’” says Simsolo. “It's our way of staying in tune with new challenges to keep us improving, even when things are working well.”
