Promo’s third-largest distributor holds steady on this year’s list with estimated revenue growth of 4%, inching ever closer to the $1 billion revenue mark. Major achievements last year included “meaningful progress in simplifying the customer experience” and a “more seamless, custom-focused journey,” according to Cathy Ward, senior director of strategic project management. The distributor also began embedding AI across the organization to increase productivity, and experienced a notable change in leadership, with Counselor Power 50 member Daron Hines departing the company, and Senior Vice President Bill Gossman taking over. In 2026 and beyond, Staples is gaining traction with projects tied to the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, having been named an official premium licensee of LA28 and Team USA.
