The Austin, TX-based company engineered the biggest deal of the year (so far) by acquiring former Top 40 distributor Touchstone. In addition, Aaron Hamer, an operating partner with one of the two private equity companies that purchased Boundless in 2021, was named CEO, replacing former chief executive Dave Klotter. Company revenue fell nearly 4% in 2023 (a year after growing sales by 73%), but Hamer says it was an important year to “lay the groundwork for our growth which includes investments in executive talent, ERP, direct integrations, business development, digital marketing initiatives, and many other areas.”
