IMS doubled down on serving new clients and new industries such as pharmaceuticals. Sales remained essentially flat though, as there are ongoing headwinds to contend with. “We’re dealing with price pressure as clients tighten their budgets,” says Mark Lenox, vice president of creative and merchandising. “Also, marketing departments are working closer than ever to campaign launch dates, which affects development and delivery times.” Lenox says the company is pursuing, and expects to see, new clients this year, and is staying committed to sustainable practices.
