While it may not get the exposure that its peers TikTok or Facebook receive, it would be a serious mistake for any promo professional to overlook its potential. However, overeager salespeople and tone-deaf cold emails have given the platform a bad reputation.

According to Hootsuite “LinkedIn saw a 55% increase in conversations among connections, a 60% increase in content creation with a 473% increase in Live video creation during 2020.” In short, LinkedIn poses a huge opportunity for promo professionals to leverage credibility and authority to expand their network and source potential leads through social selling.
